In 2010, Endeavour Energy UK was awarded accreditation for its oil and gas exploration, project development, production and suspension/decommissioning activities on the United Kingdom Continental Shelf and associated onshore activities by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO is the world's largest developer and publisher of international standards, representing a network of 163 countries that coordinates the system.
The ISO 14001:204 certification is independent verification that Endeavour operates in an environmentally responsible manner in compliance with the law and relevant industry standards. The ISO process confirms that the company has identified and assessed the environmental impacts and risks of its operations and has a management system in place to mitigate those issues. It also attests that Endeavour aims to achieve a reasonably continuous improvement in environmental performance.
